I can't and wont take a lick of credit for the gestures our administration made.
But like I said last night: I'd have been very disappointed in us, had we handled the situation any differently.
What I can offer are my sincere condolences to the young man--and to the entire team--on the passing of Mr. Mason.
I'm sure he's dealing with unspeakable grief right now; as are his coaches and teammates, by proxy.
I pray he finds some moments of solace and comfort.

The Aggies are no Longhorns!
That is the nicest compliment I have ever had. Thank you.

I found it really classy when in 2013 the FTAB started playing during our moment of silence before the national anthem.
That could also be on our game ops people. If they didn't inform their band on timing or a moment of silence how would they know? I have a hard time believing a school with that type of military tradition would purposely play during a moment of silence.

Especially when the PA announces a moment of silence and the whole stadium goes quiet. I know Aggies are dumb but they're deaf too?

Not the thread for this imo, bang away all you want. Props to aTm for doing right by me. No doubt in my mind Auburn and Coach Pearl will help that young man moving fwd.

(With so much ire and bile often flowing on this board, I thought it appropriate to recognize something so nice.)
Good post. And if Bruce Pearl hadn't called it out I'd be clueless. Kudos to him for the recognition. And sympathies for the Mason family. That's tough.
