Pearl had some nice remarks about Anthony Mason and his positive impact on the team

quote:

Antoine's teammates have also been deeply affected by the death of his father. Anthony was a regular presence at Auburn's practices and home and away games.

"He probably spent as much time visiting with Kareem (Canty) or Cinmeon (Bowers) any of the other players as he did Antoine," Pearl said. "And Anthony didn't edit. He'd tell you what he thought.

"For some of those guys that did not have a father, that would be here watching the games and encouraging them and criticizing them and challenging them, Anthony did that for a lot of those guys. That's just who he was."

The Suns couldn't beat the Rockets, either.

They absolutely should have in 1995. They easily win the NBA finals if they don't blow that series with 3 straight losses

Yeah, blew a 3-1 lead...but I think Penny and Shaq beat them in 5 if they had made it

I don't know. That Suns team was stacked. If Marjerle stays healthy that year they win it all.

Also wouldn't have hurt if TJ's dad didn't catch the injury bug either
