by letting Chavis go. The guy seems crazy. They went on to ruin it by hiring a horrendous replacement.

He is suing his new school saying that they should pay his buyout.

Apparently he understood that A&M was going to pay his buyout.

Now they don't want to.

Now you're understanding the difference between LSU and aTm. 2 top 10 defenses amongst four average (by our standards) defenses isn't good enough to garner a 1.7 mil per year paycheck. aTm will pay 1.7 mil just to try and crack the top 100.

LOLOLOL you Aggies are so cute, USL was not a suitable replacement:

For most members of the Ragin' Cajuns' 1996 football team, the lasting image from then-USL's 29-22 upset victory over Texas A&M remains the goal post.
Students and fans swarming the field had already torn down the south-end post, and another group headed toward the north end for a similar prize. Meanwhile, those with the south post faced a dilemma.

"They tried to get it up the tunnel, and it wouldn't fit," said then-assistant coach Gerald Broussard. "So they just went up the hill."

The natural bowl of Cajun Field couldn't contain that kind of enthusiasm, as the student army took the post up the steep slopes, passed it over a metal fence and eventually out into the nearby streets.

AM doesn't have lsu's defensive talent. Chavis can make food disappear, but he's not a magician.

What would Eric Reid, Tyrann Mathieu, Mo Claiborne, Patrick Peterson, Barkevious Mingo, Sam Montgomery, Bennie Logan, Michael Brockers, Perry Riley, et al have done without JOHN CHAVIS? Surely have had unsuccessful collegiate careers.

How many of those guys was Chavis responsible for getting to LSU I wonder? Surely a lot. Sucks that LSU couldn't field a legit defense to save our lives before Chavis got here.

Thees's a wealth of knowledge on Steele. He's a great coach and better recruiter. Don't make it out to be more than it is.
