Can we go ahead and make a promise that you won't form an alliance this year, regardless of your success? It disrupts the balance of the football universe. We are the Southeastern Conference - we don't celebrate the victories of our rivals, like some success-starved Indiana Hoosier.

We all knew the inevitable ending for the Landmass Alliance, so can we just make a preliminary promise to cut that nonsense out?

Thanks, and good luck this year.

Whatever. You know what I'm talking about. Let your hate flow like any God fearing football loving Southerner would.

The only thing that was good about State winning was that it was fun to talk about with fellow Mississippians. We have been underdogs for so long it felt good to be in the spotlight. Whole state came together there for a little bit.

"I'm just glad that both schools are doing so well"

heard this shite so much last year, and it pissed me off to no end. I'm in banking, so I had to say some of that stuff too just so I wouldn't step on some customer's toes. But inside I was screaming obsceneties

So what do you suggest we do instead? Starkville doesn't have any trees to poison.

You do have a point. And you can't really teabag someone at a Sonic.

We'll have to get back to you on this.

Oxford is getting a Krystal in a few months, so no worries.

I was really taking a shot at Starkville. I lived in or around Oxford for years, and there are quite a few nice places to eat for its size. (And that was years ago - it is bigger now.)

That being said, I'm still pissed at Proud Larry's for throwing us all out the moment they had to stop serving alcohol. How rude.

It can't be done. Many have tried and failed.
