I always told them they were either poor or their parent(s) hate them for sending them to public school.

I dont know how it is in Louisiana, but in Georgia the parents can be charged in these kinds of cases involving delinquent minors.

No where did I read that the little monster has been incarcerated. Is it illegal to jail minors in Louisiana?

thats from the OT thread on it.

I'm sure the kid will be out monday if not today. Some liberal catfan81 type judge will tap him on the wrist.

But they're in Baton Rouge....this has to be covered by Team Vote policy, amirite? The student shouldn't be suspended.

Sounds like an incident we had here awhile back where two girls on the bus coming from their alternative school got into a fight while the bus was moving and one was severely injured when she fell through the bus door. Now they're suing the district and the driver because it wasn't a "safe environment" if the bus door came open when they fell into it.

And of course the state of Kentucky doesn't allow expulsions.

I'm sure they both have IEPs for behavior anyway.

Some of us are from states where the public school systems are just as good, if not better, than the private schools. Louisiana is not one of those states.

They should charge him with attempted murder for everyone on the bus.

Gawd. IEP. I recognize that schtick. My wife's a teacher. The sociologists have long since commandeered public education.

Exactly! I love my property taxes, real estate values and the no bus policy in my tiny town. All the poors outside our city limits get bussed to the county schools. Insulated enclave for sure.
