In order from favorite to least favorite:
Vandy (I love Nashville)
LSU
Florida
Arkansas
Kentucky
Auburn
Tennessee
MSU
Ole Miss
I haven't been to UGA, USC, TAM, or Mizzou. I'm a Bama fan, so I left them off the list. There's a huge gap between UT and MSU. UF-UT are pretty even to me.

Athens is what Austin used to be.

Favorite: Oxford- Absolutely love the drive and it's a really nice town. Girls are INSANE and everyone loves to have a good time. Went to a bar the night before and was greeted by a lot of friendly Ole Miss fans and we knocked back a few.
Least favorite: Knoxville- Won't badmouth Knoxville, just didn't care for it.

Athens downtown and campus can't be beat in the SEC

Love Athens, closely followed by T-Town. LSU folks were cool once they stopped the tiguhbait shite. Grove is awesome when you're in college, but in my 30s it has lost its luster.
worst: MSU

I haven't been to that many but I can't imagine things being worse than in Columbia, South Carolina

UGA fans are always whining about Columbia.. but we can't seem to get rid of them.
I can't walk in the mall and throw a stone without hitting a UGA fan.
If it's so bad.........

Also been to Ole Miss a few times but it was pretty bland...not great, not terrible. Pulled pork nachos in the stadium are Awesome. The grove is WAY overrated.
Sorry we don't have a parking lot for your pedestrian tailgate, brah.

I've only been to College Station and Knoxville and have no complaints about either.

If you went to Athens and didn't enjoy it, then you fricked up pretty badly. That's all there really is to say.

1b. Columbia: Ignorant fans, hostile (in a bad way fans). Threw batteries at us inside the game lol. Were doing the gator chomp while we were beating them bc we had lost to UF the week before. The rail car was cool and the stadium was different but i dug it. May show my nerdness but i imagined that is what a quidditch stadium would look like with the way yalls lights were set up.
Good, don't come back. We hate yankees and the french.

What a dirty, shitty pit of a city. I drove there from Norfolk in 2010 to watch a really bad UGA team get blown out there (expected, wasn't too mad about it). That stadium is like watching a game on the sun. It was 96 degrees outside that day and felt like 120 in there. Most of the Carolina fans were absolute garbage human beings although one group did invite me to do a keg stand as I was walking into the stadium, so that was kind of nice.
I had a pretty good time in RV Park, though.

I went to Athens in 2003. I enjoyed it other than seeing a bad Alabama team get worked over. I heard bad stories from the 2008 "blackout" game.

I really, really enjoy two places in the SEC and that is Alabama and Georgia. I just like the whole feel of game day on those campuses. Both are beautiful and feel like a college town is supposed too. Plus the fans are generally genial and not insecure.
Ole Miss is trying WAY too hard in a self-conscious manner. If they ever stopped trying so hard it would be so much better. I don't like to be surrounded by wanna-be social climbers on game day. It's pathetic and comical.
I like the MSU people a lot. They are always gracious and I think the campus has a good feel to it. They just need to plant about 1000 more trees. It has a barren feel to it, which leads me to...
The most plain vanilla weird place ever, and that is Aggieville. Too weird for me. Lots of nice people, but it's the one town I can't wait to gtfo of. I did enjoy some restaurants and yell practice.
Florida is the only venue that I really felt nervous in. That place gets freaking LOUD and the fans have a sort of East Coast ethic that doesn't jibe well with Southern people. Crazy intimidating if you ask me. I respect that stadium.
For my money Auburn has the best pre-game stadium stuff and the cool unis and fight song. But the campus is meh.
