who yall got better than bama's bunch?
Harold Brantley and Josh Augusta. Brantley's the best DL in the conference nobody seems to know about. He's a Sheldon Richardson clone without the hype out of high school.

Well, given mizzou's track record and coaching, I'll expect them to be very good. But Bama's group is stellar. Robinson and Reed are NFL talents already. Tomlinson can play DT or DE. Jon Taylor is supposed to be as talented as the rest of the group. Then we've got Darren Lake, a 6'3" 325 lb senior and freshman composite 5 star, Daron Payne. Bama is ridiculously stacked at DT next year. That's not even counting the DEs who move inside on 3rd downs.

12. South Carolina: The Gamecocks’ D-line was a huge letdown last season with the fewest sacks in the SEC, and there’s not a lot returning to campus that says that will change anytime soon. So, coach Steve Spurrier is betting heavily on some new blood in the form of new co-defensive coordinator Jon Hoke and a handful of mature recruits. The headliner is defensive tackle Dexter Wideman, who spent last year at a military academy getting his grades in order, and ESPN’s No. 2 and No. 3 juco defensive ends, Marquavius Lewis and Dante Sawyer.
Too high

I remember last year Mizzou fans getting blasted for saying Ray and Golden were going to be better than Sam and Ealy... That being said Mizzou will drop a little on the ends but the tackles will run the show, and Mizzou will again have the defensive player of the year.

Your so called best DT's in the conference gave up 242 rushing yards in the SECCG. You gave up 210 yards rushing to Georgia. Alabama held you to 42 yards rushing and Georgia held you to 50. You're so called best DT's in the conference ain't shite compared to the top programs and Missouri is not a top program.

How many times has that Alabama defensive line held their opponents to 0 rushing yards?
How many times did it give up nearly 300?

Henry shredded us.
On the other hand, Georgia had 210 yards rushing because our offense couldn't move the ball or get first downs. The only thing our offense did consistently was turn the ball over. Georgia ran the ball 58 times for 3.6 yards per carry. Chubb had 38 carries at 3.8 ypc. Georgia's offense averaged 5.5 yards per carry and Chubb 6.7 ypc in conference play. Our defense played very well against Georgia.

They did. They played their guts out in that game. Mauk melted.
And not that I would expect anyone here to know, but with the best DL coach in the country calling DE Marcell Fraizer his #1 JUCO target I wouldn't assume a huge drop off because of losing Ray & Golden.

He is far and away the shittiest QB I have ever seen. He better feel lucky that our secondary was garbage against any receiver who was above 6 feet. Otherwise he wouldn't have been able to pull off those 4-5 bombs that were his only legit passes. But I'm serious. Y'all need to get rid of that guy. He absolutely folds against a good defensive team.

I want to know why State hasn't been last in every one of these rankings. I mean, all you ranters say we lost every player on the team. According to you all, I thought we were going to have trouble fielding a team next year. Why aren't we ranked last?

LSU ran over and through both Bama and Ole Miss DLS last year and will do it again this year If only we had a QB

Several teams getting higher rankings based on the impact that highly recruited true freshmen will supposedly make.
iffy
iffy

Florida is way to high.
Based on what? Fowler is a first rounder and will be missed...but it isn't the elite pass rushers that are so valuable sometimes as the space eaters that deny the run game. The 300 lb guys that require 2 to block and try to move.
Brantley, Bostwick, Bryan, MacAllister (a beast now that has finally filled into his 6'7 body with a HUGE wingspan, Bullard will be a high draft pick and Joey Ivie , Jordan Sherit, Khairi Clark, Justus Reed are names to remember. DL's require numbers...rotation is crucial in SEC games.
I think 4th is right especially if hs recruit Thomas Holley healed during redshirt
I can tell you that hands down I would put Mizzou as the best DL in the SEC period! They have some drone bio secret plant turning out replicas of first rounders...Everyone graduated? No problem...a kid on the maintenance staff who once walked on for swimming....check. Third string tight end who walked on to be special teams holder...check. Where in the hell are they getting them?

LSU had 183 yards rushing on 56 attempts LOL. Fournette had all of 79 yards...really shredded our DL.

Bama has played Mizzou twice since they came into the league 3 years ago and we scored at will both times in blowout wins. Just because their DL wrecks all the weak OLs in the SEC EAST does not mean a damn thing. Bama has the best DL and it's not even close.
