Yea it's probably a good thing but might cause you to have to hand out extensions more often to avoid getting negative recruited. Especially if you guys have a coach that is getting up there in years.

I wonder if any other football team has ever had their first two snaps be turnovers. Goddamn Auburn was embarrassing last year.

The most average union in history Akin to the likes of Switzerland's marital allegiance to Luxembourg.

Good for him.

He is, without a doubt, the best coach in modern Mississippi State history, IMO.

The four-year contract for Mullen is most allowable by state law in Mississippi.

A state law from the 1970s (I think) mandates that state employees cannot sign employment contracts for more than a four-year term.

You still mad about 41-31?

That was with Russel at QB too. Cant imagine how bad we would embarrass you with Dak.

Russell had a good season in 2012.

231/394, 58.6%, 2897 yards, 24 TD, 10 INT, 135.4 rating, 2 rushing TDs

He had great games against the following teams:
1) Auburn - 20/29, 222 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT
2) Tennessee - 23/37, 291 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT
3) Arkansas - 19/32, 274 yards, 4 TD, 0 INT

What really killed him from a statistical standpoint was tossing six interceptions in State's final two games. He went into the Egg Bowl with 21 TDs and 4 INTs, which is a fantastic ratio.

It goes beyond employment agreements. Vendor/provider agreements, service agreements and the like are also limited. There are some exceptions; such as long-term lease agreements for buildings and such where a 4 year limitation just wouldn't work. It's both good and bad. For instance, if you are in a position to negotiate a sliding scale contract where the cost of say a service declines the longer the contract is in place. If it has to stop at 4 years, the vendor gets to start over on what they are able to charge you. It does give you an out though when a predecessor negotiated a bad contract and it's limited to 4 years.

That's ridiculous.

Most sales contracts in Louisiana have a ten-year limit, which makes sense because the prescription period (statute of limitations) for contractual breaches is ten years as well.
