Bout time someone decided to start a fricking thread on this dead motherfricker... .....

I'm waiting to see what happens at center & to see how Sale does as a coach but I'm cautiously VERY optimistic...

Yeah, Center is a huge position to fill for cohesion with the OL, so I hope we don't miss a beat there. Having the other starters returning will be nice, though.

Our offensive line did an outstanding job last year and they have the perfect RB in Chubb to block for, as he is short, gets behind his blockers very well, has great instincts and will make them look real good if they do their jobs.

Our running game should have another great season next year if we shake the injury bug (finally).

I thought I'd not live to see the day. This is how you win football games in the SEC boys. If Pruitt fixes the D, and I trust he will, good things are coming our way.

Except of course until you figure in the fact that the list is 100% horse shite. Then it kind of muddies the water a little bit.

It's just an opinion, of course, but it's telling that our OL is good enough to be considered at the top of the list. We might not have the best OL in the SEC, but we're in a lot better shape than we've been in previously.

Anytime you return 4 of 5 starters from a solid OL they'll get credit. I'm honestly not worried abt any position next year other than quarterback, unfortunately that's kind of a big one. We could have anywhere from 0 to 5 losses depending on how our QB plays.

I hate going into seasons with questions at QB.

When breaking in a new QB, I think playcalling is really important. We need to be utilizing the run often, dialing up high percentage passes like we did with Mason, and using the deep pass sparingly until whoever the QB is gets some confidence in themselves and the receivers.

We should ease into the passing game and rely on Chubb and co. to wear down defenses. If we do that, I'm not all that concerned about who our QB is as long as they come to play.

It may be 100% BS, but the same lists used to put us 8-12. To even be wrongly accused of having the best OL in the SEC is evidence of vast improvement.

Chubb's production came to a screeching halt at Florida when Andrews went out. I hope the new coach is able to make this unit work without Andrews.
