Neither were in the kayak, they were both straddling it on top. And yeah they were moving fast in that thing.

It didn't look like they were aimed at it, but the hill kind of funneled them towards it and they started heading towards the light pole so they moved slightly to the right and they were going fast at that point And when They made impact It was an instant stop in momentum when they hit whatever white pole was down there.
I cant imagine why de vante kincaide would have taken it down unless he realized that guy was seriously injured in the video.

This kid was one of my pledges when I was a pledge trainer. Tough time for a lot of folks right now. Second funeral of a brother in two years I'll have to attend.

I'm sorry to hear that. I just spoke with my friend and she's beside herself. I've been there myself and know how hard it is. I'm just praying for all his friends and family. Very sad

I heard he has broken bones and a punctured lung. If it has been confirmed that the kid has passed away, sorry for bringing this up. That's terrible

Tough time for everyone. He was in my fraternity. I hope that video has been taken down. Not that Kincaide knew what ended up happening but someone ought to let him know if it hasn't already been taken down. That isn't something that people should see like his brother and parents.
I was president of the fraternity when the last brother passed and unfortunately life takes weird twists and turns
ETA: I just read that it's been taken down and my GF made sure. Still horrific and the other guys that were in the video are really struggling since they were on the kayak with him

I'm in the fraternity as well. Pledge class above his. My initials are in my username. Can't echo what others have said enough. Both him and his brother are great kids, I really hurt for his brother and family right now.

Was it Phi Psy that had another guy that was killed in a car accident two years ago? I remember the kid who was killed then because I was in a class with him. Was shocking when we all heard he had died. I really hate it for this kid's family and friends.

KA had 3 pledges killed in a car crash a few years ago. '11 I think.

Yes. He was the other brother that we lost that OB and Archie are referring to.

A Phi Psi died two years on the Saturday of the Arkansas football game. An ATO pledge also died in that accident. This kinda stuff happens way too often
