Even though LSU lost twice to A&M their overall resume is better when you break it down

UGA is too high too in my opinion

LSU still needs two more wins to feel comfortable they won't get bumped when upsets happen in conference tourneys and stay as long as they can in sec tourney

Texas losing was big as well

Is it?
A&M has a better conference record, RPI, SOS, 2 H2H wins, and no bad losses.

LSU has a better overall record (.5 game), better wins, and some bad losses.

I would say they are about equal with a edge to A&M.

A&M has the edge. LSU would has more opportunity with games against Ole Miss and @ Arkansas.

If A&M got a 10 seed, I'd like our chances of advancing to the Sweet 16

Prob going to have to win out though to get off the bubble, and get at least 1-2 wins in the SEC tourney to clinch for sure

Obviously Kentucky is Kentucky this year and unless their team just completely collapses in the last handful of games they deserve not only a number 1 seed, but the overall number 1 seed.

I think the rest of those look about right. Arkansas is hot at the moment and Ole Miss (As much as it pains me to say it) is a very dangerous team.

The Aggies, UGA, and LSU are all good teams. If any of them get hot they can play with any team in the country and have a good shot. All 6 are worthy of NCAA bids.

And just think, we have been playing great with our 2nd and 3rd best players struggling horribly. If they get back on track, we could make a run.

I think both Arkansas and Ole Miss have a shot at making some noise in the Big Dance. Which probably means they both lose in the first round and irate Ole Miss fans put a contract out on my life.

Both teams have solid talent, both teams have been good teams throughout the year, and both teams can put together the sort of runs that win tournament games.

My biggest concern for Arkansas and Ole Miss is that both teams have also shown a tendency to have scoring droughts.

Maybe so, maybe not. When you have a bunch if upperclassmen that play really hard, you have a chance in almost every game.

Ole Miss should be a 7-8 seed.
Georgia a 9 seed if they play consistently
LSU an 11-12 that could be one of those 12-5 upsets

Those are some tough matchups against the big 10. Maybe it will happen and the SEC teams can prove the "experts" wrong.

Have you watched them?

House is RIDICULOUS right now. One of the best players in the country. I was very impressed.

I think they're more dangerous than Ole Miss, mainly from a talent standpoint.

I agree with all of your points. Both teams can catch fire, but if they aren't hitting their shots it's not going to be good. I think Arkansas can work through a shooting drought better though as I think y'all are better at getting to the rim.

Yes numerous times including last night.

I wasn't comparing TAMU and Ole Miss's chances, I have no clue what our chances will be like in the tournament. I do however think that if TAMU is in the 7-10 game their chances of making the sweet 16 are slim. I think the teams that will be 2 seeds are really good this year. I think that most years Villanova and Wisconsin are 1's.

Was getting ahead of myself and was purely hypothetical. I just think the team can do damage given the right matchups.

Obviously depends on the seeding. Teams that can shoot lights out tend to beat A&M as compared to just purely athletic teams.

I've been told all that matters when comparing two teams is head to head though. Or is it different by sport?

I hope Ole Miss has enjoyed their run with their incredibly easy SEC scedule.

After the Rebs lose to UGA and LSU again, they'll be sweating on the bubble. Then, you split Bama/Vandy, all of a sudden you're out of it.

That said, Kennedy is a very good coach. But, y'all have benefited from an absurdly easy conference schedule this season. 1 quality win (aTm) thusfar in the bunch.
