That would have been me. So, tell me...is 17 yards per game far and away better?

It's taken on a life of it's own.

When you think about it...it is a question that is decided purely on opinion. And it really doesn't make any difference. It desn't make me a better person if Chubb is a better RB just as it doesn't make you a better person if Fournette is better. For some reason it brings out the feisty in all of us, though!

UGA Passing: 67.% 24 tds 6 ints 156 rating 200yds/g

LSU PASSING: 50% 17 tds 9 ints 128 rating 162 yds/g

Virtually identical

Do you think LSU fans believe you had the best QB?

Heck no
but did I want to believe that? yes. I kept waiting for one of them to light it up, but sadly that day didn't come.

LF was judged on what he did in High School. Now, he and Chubb are playing against suimilar competition. Based on what you see, you have to give Chubb the advantage. LF will probably improve in the coming year. but if you push that line of thinking then you have to accept that Chubb could too.

Chubb had a consistent line in front of him and wasn't sharing touches with 3 other backs. UGA at least had a forward passing game that had to be respected. How many 8 or 9 man fronts did Chubb run into all year. LF did almost every touch. I don't believe one was actually better than the other, they both are good and both will be playing on Sundays in the future.

I agree that potential isn't an effective measuring tool as much as reality.

I never thought I'd see the day that someone wanted their school to be on the same level as LSU in the passing game

If you calculate Chubb's numbers with the same amount of carries as LF they are within 300 yards of each other. What, in your opinion, is the line between accomplished something and hasn't accomplished anything?

How bout this- if you gross up Floorinets carries to match Chubbs, he'd have to average 16 YPC on his extra 32 attempts. To say their #'s were "nearly equal" is about the dumbest post on a thread full of insane, dipshat posts.

WTF is going on in here? I thought LSU and UGA fans didn’t bitch at each other on the rant? Can we just end this thread with the following:

LSU fans think Fournette is better
UGA fans think Chubb is better

And both have reasons for thinking it so far.

Wish we didn't play once every 15 years

this is why there's no point even discussing it with unreasonable georgia fans. i suspect the crew in this thread is a tiny minority

At the end of the regular season Fournette was ranked 13th in the conference in rushing yards. I figure a top five back in the conference would be ranked somewhere, I don't know, in the top five.

I will say this, though, LF was a top 5 back in terms of how he looked in pads.

Don't like the TR comparison, how about a slightly better version of Mr. 3.99, Spencer Ware.

LF is nothing special, period. His much less than spectacular numbers are inflated against poor teams on the schedule.
