This is looking more and more like a 5 team league. Maybe 4. Maybe 6. Probably 5.

I like that ole miss is projected at a 7 seed currently. I really don't want to be a 8 or 9 seed. I hope if we can somehow finish 3-1 the rest of the way and win a game or 2 in the sec tourney we don't move back.

I would love it to be 6. If LSU can pull off the win in Fayetteville or win 2 in the SECT I think we can get in 6.

I had said 4 a week or so ago....now I think 5...UGA seems like the odd man out, right now.

I know their RPI is a 37...BUT
0-3 vs. RPI Top 25
2-4 vs. RPI Top 50
5-4 vs. RPI 101-150

I think tonight is a must win for UGA. I don't trust them enough to say they win both games against Mizzou and Auburn coming up. Unfortunately, I think Ole Miss handles business tonight.

Agreed, I would almost prefer to be a 10 or 11 seed and play the underdog/Cinderella role than that damned 8/9. No matter what I get that right maybe once on the whole bracket and some years wrong on all four games.

The frusterating thing about RPI is the fact that playing crap teams hurt you so much... LSU played some good teams, and played well against them, but because they beat crap teams, their RPI is shite.

Oh well. All the computer ratings have LSU much higher than RPI. KenPom moved LSU into top 30 for first time this year. BPI has LSU at 35. I think the 35 number is about right. I think LSU squeaks into the tournament despite a upper 40's type RPI.

If we win, we're in pretty much as a lock. If we lose, we need to win 2 out of our next 4 (including the conference tourney opener). If we do that, I believe we will be in.

Georgia is far from a lock, even with a win over Ole Miss.

UGA still has two land mines on their schedule in Missouri and Auburn. UGA has once lost to Auburn a week back, at home.

BPI is the dumbest thing ESPN has ever come up with.

It was so far off last year it was laughable.m

LSU's RPI is shite because they lost to Missouri, State, and Auburn. The three worst teams in the SEC. Not because you played and beat crap teams.

There must be some mistake. I had it on good authority that y'all would drop at least 4 spots.

Do you know how RPI works? Cause the win or loss is only 1/4 of the formula. A loss to Auburn does the exact same damage as a loss to Kentucky... The other 3/4 of the formula is opponents win % and opponents opponents win percentage.

Beat 2 out of Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Arkansas and I think we get in. I legit think A&M is more on the bubble than LSU is
