It's terrible at alabama basketball games. Most of the season ticket holders are just old people trying to boost their tide pride points to get better football tickets. They are either a) not interested in coming to the games or b) not interested in showing any emotion beyond a golf clap.

This is my biggest gripe with UGA basketball. Bunch of middle aged and older folks from oconee and Gwinnett buy up the season tickets behind the team benches and never show. So all you ever see on camera shots of games are rows of empty seats, no matter how many students pack the place out

That rustling noise you do hear is the sound of money being pulled out of "old people's" wallets to pay for all that shite.

This is true. Bama basketball games are like people lounging on the back patio on a nice spring afternoon. My section for football games is not much better (upper east). Our tradition is to sit with arms folded, even on the most critical of plays.
