I blame Tony Barbee. We hardly have a roster. We won a few games in the middle of the season that we shouldn't have won. Other teams have finally figured out how to exploit our lack of size inside.

Lost a key contributor in Taj Shamsid-Deen and we are just too damn small to compete consistently at a hight level.

Let's be honest here, I am no huge NCAA basketball fan, but even I can see that AU has gotten worse as the season has gone on.

Bruce beat a tourney LSU team on the road with two elite big men.
We start a 6 6 center. We just need the players to run his style of ball and we should be alright.

Aren't you like the 2nd smallest team in the NCAA as well? Not the SEC but the NCAA.
Pearl is going to take some chances on some guys that will be borderline qualifiers, transfer, etc. But give him a couple years and he's going to have a solid squad. It'll certainly be better than what he inherited.

This is not a knock or troll against Auburn when I say this. I think Pearl after he took the job at Auburn was excited. But then the Tennessee job opened up 2 weeks later and he was gut shot. I really don't think his heart is in it at Auburn.
