So I'm thinking of taking my daughter to the Gymnastics SEC Championship

Just curious if anyone has gone? What is it like?

It is always a great atmosphere in Birmingham. It should be pretty good in Duluth too.

I haven't been to the SEC but I've been to the NCAA championships when they were held in Athens.

It's a fun time, I'm sure your daughter will enjoy it if she likes gymnastics.

She is only 4 but loves everything LSU so I'm trying to promote that as much as possible

Have you ever been to a regular meet where it's just two teams? I would say that it's like any other meet but a lot more busy since there will be more teams competing. Have fun going if you decide to take her. I'm sure she'll love it!

Warning: Those things are all day events with a lot of action. A 4 yr old won't understand the scoring and placement system and the attention span will wander after the first couple of rotations.

Then you are left with a toddler looking for another kid to play with and making regular trips to the concession stand for snacks/candy and then to the potty every half hour.....
