all is right with the world.

it just feels right man. has that old school original gangster feel to it. the conference is a better place when the tFlagship and UK are ruling over it.

I know that feel. Kind of how it feels so right that Arkansas and Kentucky are the two worst football teams in the SEC.

I foresee Bert and Stoops changing that soon. both our football teams are on the upswing

That's funny since one of those teams are already being ranked for next year and one isn't. What a difference a year makes.

Ha-mfing-haha. We have NC's in football AND BB. Neither of those schools do. Gonna add one in baseball here soon, maybe this year. NC's in the big three.

Wait, Bama - maybe, I admit nothing. Kentucky though? Really?

I doubt they change the SEC from Iowa City considering one of the two will be HC of the Hawkeyes by 2016

It's WAY too early in the offseason. Seriously, this would be a great thread to start if we start the season on a winning (or losing) streak.

Hogs have 1 in basketball, Cats have 8

8 > 1

Hogs and Cats both have 1 MNC in football and if you are a fan of either team and are old enough to have clear memories, chances are great you are collecting Social Security.

Hogs do have T&F and Cats have Rifle.

Your claim to a national championship in football is weak. Arkansas was able to find one obscure poll that had them as #1. Counting it as a championship is shameful.

And you are seriously delusional if you think the baseball team is close to a national championship.

Just accept mediocrIty.....your life will be much easier.

Says that fan that claims 1935 in basketball.

I see you Hawkeyes fan with the jokes. Funny guy

No coach from the SEC would willingly go to Iowa. And like I said, both our teams are on the upswing

Bear Bryant era, back in the 50's

Polls ened last day of the season and had Oklahoma #1 then UK beat them in the bowl (back when you only had 4 bowls or so and they meant something)

1950 Kentucky team
SEC champions
Sugar Bowl Champions
National Champions

The 1950 Kentucky team concluded its season with a victory over Bud Wilkinson's #1 ranked and NCAA champion Oklahoma Sooners in the Sugar Bowl. The living players from the 1950 Wildcats team were honored during halftime of a game during the 2005 season as the #1 ranked team for the 1950 season, even though they finished the season ranked #7 by the AP. In 1990, Jeff Sagarin released a retroactive ranking of teams for the 1950 season and Kentucky was listed #1.

I think you misunderstand what being #2 means.
