Anybody else just getting all kinds of job search recommendations these days?

I'm getting like four headhunter emails a day of jobs I'm qualified for. It started in earnest in the fall, but now its just crazy. Mostly in DFW, but these are the types of opportunities that completely dried up in 2007. Anybody else see this happening? Or just me?

I get about 1 to 2 a week. They're mainly contract work, so I don't pay any attention to them. Plus, they're in the New England area (blah). I'm In a pretty good gig now where I work from home. I'm in the process of trying to convince my wife to move back to NWA.

Nah but I get 5 or 6 phone calls a week from different energy companies wanting me to come back to pipelineing.

That's how I landed where I'm at currently.
Post military it seemed like every IT head hunter in the state was throwing feelers out. I went with the only company that offered west coast salaries as they're based out of Salt Lake. One of the best decisions I've made up to this point.
Hopefully the trend continues through out the U.S

Cool. Yeah, I have a good job, and I haven't signed up for or updated any of my old job search postings in 5-6 years. I just noticed a flood of emails from the various head hunters I used to be in contact with years ago. I take it as a good economic indicator.

I get them all the time and it hate having to break all these companies hearts day in and day out. I'm like the Michael Jordan of what I do and it pains my heart to reject all the good people
