Just go to my house to settle in for the day. Despite temps still being slightly above freezing, the roads are extremely slick already. We almost slid through a stop light because I didn't really think the roads would be slick yet.
Be careful out there if you've got to drive. If you can, get somewhere and stay until this crap switches over to snow.
I got out of the house at 7am, went to gym, did some work at the wife's store, went to grocery store, went to liquour store (cabinet was empty, and that would have been a disaster), made final run down to ozark natural foods for Indian spices, and am at home about to light a fire and start a slow cooker chicken tikka masala for tonight.

79 degrees here right now.
Supposed to be 39 degrees by 9pm and 27 degrees by morning with freezing rain, a 52 degree drop in temperature.
We'll see.
Glad to see we'll probably dodge a bullet on what NW Ark is getting and miss a beautiful powdery snow and will only have to deal with downed power lines, trees, and roads we can play hockey on.

It's going to be 87 here today.
When I'm in Key Largo this weekend it'll be a low of 72 and a high of 82 pretty much every day. Nice sailing weather.

It was pretty odd in the Fort. It was raining one minute, then sleet for about 10 minutes, then large amounts of snow. A very fast transition from rain to snow.
