LINK

So apparently the colts suspended him because he rushed his girlfriend to the hospital with what they thought was premature labor at 28 weeks and forgot to notify them. Thats gonna be some good PR when they try to get out of the 3 million and have to admit thats the basis of their conduct detrimental to the team

Pathetic if true. I've been chatting with Keith McCants on Twitter some and it's a shame what the NFL does to these guys. I don't think I'll ever watch it the same way again.

I'd be filing a lawsuit against the Colts and the NFL for this. Milk every penny I could.

I have a feeling they will not like the end result of this.

After the bad publicity from the past year the NFL definitely doesn't need a black eye like that.

ETA: I'm not clicking a link to al.com. Can someone give a synopsis?

Somehow I really doubt that this was all there was to it. Companies and sports teams don't fire people for family medical emergencies.

The execs that run this league and its teams really have their heads so far up their own asses that it's almost kind of impressive.
