Honest question for Ole Miss in regards to Shea.

Would you guys rather he had committed closer to signing day? I mean its close to a year away and by Shea being a great pick up I am assuming the momentum from today would have died down by February. No attempt at a troll job just something to discuss. Congrats on the pick up. Geaux Tigers!

Um, he's a 5* quarterback. Unless Eli was a 5* we have never signed one before. I don't give a frick when he decided to sign.

He's an early enroller, has stated that his recruitment is shut down and he is only focused on recruiting for us. We don't have to keep courting him until February. We're really just banking on his word, whatever that means. His family seems to like us too.

He's enrolling early. He'll be in class at Ole Miss next February.

Not an Ole Miss fan, but I'd rather have the high ranked qb commit ASAP. High ranked QBs put together beastly classes. For us, Barnett was the reason we held on to Ridley and picked up Damien Harris. Shea can help OM sign a ridiculous class. A lot of WRs will be lining up to sign with OM.

Out of high school, Eli is the only 5* I can think of that we have signed. Brent Schaeffer was a JUCO 5*

Nope. I'd rather any player commit early and help recruit others to join the class. Other big time players are a lot more willing to commit if they know elite talent will be around them.

Why the would we want him to wait? Now he gets to spend the year traveling the country with DK Metcalf recruiting for us.

Eli was not a 5* in HS. He was a middle of the pack 4*.

Seriously? I could have sworn he was one of the top 2 or 3 quarterback prospects in the nation.

He is helping recruit a top class for us. Honestly more 5 stars should do the same thing.

Congrats Ole Miss fans. Franks or not, I really wanted Patterson and I think he is the superior recruit at this point.
