Hope he wears it with pride after one of Bama's all time greats.

This kid loves BAMA, I'm rooting for him to get the start next season.

Can someone tell me his play style? Like who he compares to? NFL or college. Don't really follow recruiting much. I do know he is an extremely talented big time recruit though so I cant wait to see him play.

Man I want to see Alabama with an elite qb like J. WInston or Tebow....We were sooo close to getting both of them. Not that Alabama needs one because we have proven we can win without one....But damn I want to see it lol hopefully he will become one.

So if this guy comes in and lives up to his hype...What happens to Cornwell? Cornwall?...whatever his name is. Cooper Bateman? They both transfer? Surely they wouldn't want to sit on the bench they are too talented.

I would say Cornwell and Bateman battle out for worse the backup behind Coker going into the fall. Even though I would not be surprised to see Cornwell beat out Coker(personal opinion). With Morris sticking it out and Barnett on campus I think the winner between Cornwell and Bateman stays and the other opts out.

Who knows? Cornwell is no slouch. Very talented, with a big arm. I think that Cornwell will end up the starter by the end of the 2015 season.

This QB race will be very, very interesting to see. Obviously, the odds-on favorite is Coker...but considering the kind of D we will field this year, I wouldn't mind seeing one of Bateman or Cornwell (Barnett, too, but that is unlikely) start so that we can get some continuity going. 4 QBs in 4 years is not a good thing.

He needs to get out there ASAP and start tossing the ball to Ridley and Charlot. I know it is a long shot for him to start right away but he has been on campus and will be here for spring practice so if he is as good as advertised and can produce from the start it could be something special for Bama.

I'm rooting for him, it would be nice to have some continuity from the QB position from year to year. I'd be surprised to see him start but I don't rule it out either.

This. I'm not a fan of the rent-a-quarterback feel. I'd rather have some consistency.

In my opinion, Alabama is way overdue for a superstar QB.

The #6 will forever be special after Blakesiah's magical year.

Uh what

Before this year our last 4 starting qb each started for at least 3 season and who's to say that Coker will even win the job this season and some underclassmen wont

And I don't see the problem with starting a guy if he has 1 year of eligibility left or 4 years left, as long as he is the best for the job why does it matter.
