1. AUBURN

QB: Jeremy Johnson
RB1: Roc Thomas/Jovon Robinson
WR1: D’haquille Williams

Rationale: Only one member of this trio was a factor in last year’s offense, which might lead some to question how Auburn landed at No. 1 on this list. I’ll tell you. First, Gus Malzahn’s spread rushing attack knows how to effectively maximize any athletes the team possesses, and Thomas — a five-star 2014 signee— and Robinson — a four-star 2015 junior college transfer — should fit the mold perfectly. Secondly, Williams is going to do his best to take the title of SEC’s best wideout away from Treadwell, and he’s absolutely talented enough to do so (he could’ve declared for the NFL Draft this year had he liked). Johnson is the biggest question mark, but the way he picked apart a stout Arkansas defense in last season’s opener in an offense that, frankly, wasn’t his was impressive. Auburn is going to be explosive on offense once again, and these Triplets are going to earn this No. 1 ranking.
2) Mississippi State (Dak Prescott, Ashton Shumpert, De'Runya Wilson)
3) Arkansas (Brandon Allen, Jonathan Williams/Alex Collins, Keon Hatcher
4) Tennessee (Josh Dobbs, Jalen Hurd, Pig Howard/Von Pearson)
5) Alabama (Jacob Coker, Derrick Henry, Cam Sims)
6) Texas A&M (Kyle Allen, Tra Carson, Josh Reynalds)
7) Ole Miss (Chad Kelly, Jaylon Walton, Laquan Treadwell)
8) South Carolina (Connor Mitch, Brandon Wilds, Pharoh Cooper)
9) LSU (Anthony Jennings, Leonard Fournette, Travin Dural)
10) Georgia (Brice Ramsey, Nick Chubb, Malcolm Mitchell)
11) Florida (Will Grier/Treon Harris, Kelvin Taylor, Demarcus Robinson)
12) Vanderbilt (Johnny McCrary/Patton Robinette, Ralph Webb, CJ Duncan)
13) Mizzou (Maty Mauk, Russell Hansborough, Nate Brown)
14) Kentucky (Patrick Towles, Boom Williams, Ryan Timmons)

Oh boy

I wholeheartedly disagree with this list btw. Georgia and LSU are way too low if each position is factored equally. You'd basically have to assign each position an X/10 grade. I don't see how Auburn gets the highest total in that format.

You're really on a roll today with posting terrible, subjective articles from crappy writers that hold no weight considering we're not even at the spring game yet. Auburn's looking good this year but act like you've been there before and stop with the click bait articles

No kidding. Especially the way Boom came on late last season and Towles at QB.

They're searching for rainbows after it came out that the Auburn athletic dept lost more money than Richard Scrushy.

I have posted two articles. One of which being JC Shurburt, of 247Sports, and he just so happens to be an excellent sports writer and recruiting analyst. He is also unbiased and covers South Carolina's recruiting.
