How hyped was the team after the first 9 innings this season?

Very hyped, they won the double header the next day and were the only SEC team to beat a ranked team in a series.

That 2012 one is pretty sweet. I really enjoy seeing other fans getting pumped for baseball. I know a lot of people don't get it but to me, baseball really is second only to football. I couldn't even tell you why. And it's only college baseball that I really get into.
The season isn't too long, every weekend counts, and you're playing against some of the more historic programs every week. Baseball fans typically are educated about the sport, see their time as an emotional investment, win or lose, that pays dividends for those who follow closely and really appreciate the players efforts. I guess the same could be said about most collegiate sports however baseball gives you just enough drama without having a heart attack.
There is a certain purity about the game that most of the time leaves fans raising glasses instead of smashing them. Imo it is nearly impossible to beat a beautiful Sunday in Baton Rouge at the box.
