This is what I always hoped would happen to Fran. He would be running short side options and teaching history in Kermit, TX or some shite.

Whenever I think my job is too difficult or I may never advance as high as I would like, I just think of Mike Dubose.
If that moron can become the head football coach at the University of Alabama, I can rule the freaking world.

I'm not really sure why his secretary wanted to bang him. I guess it was the job prestige.

That's where Dubose is from. I don't think he needs the money nor is trying to find work.

The land of Opportunity according to a professor of mine.

Opp High alum in the house. Mike was offered the head job last year and turned it down. Former Auburn player Shayne Wasden was there when I was in school

Just think, the linebacker coach at Opp High school used to be the boss of the head coach at Clemson University and the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals.

Don't bring that in here. This isn't that type of thread, bro.
DuBose is from Opp. I believe his position as LB coach is volunteer. He's been in the system long enough that he's drawing pension and doesn't have to work but just wants to stay in the teaching part of the game.
but, yeah, he was way over his head as a major college HC and if not for Shaun Alexander and Chris Samuels he may have never had a winning record.

This isn't a thread where we look at Mike DuBose as a dude who turned down a HS HC job. It's a thread where we talk about how amazing of a fall it is to go from SEC HC to HS LB coach. I thought it was pretty obvious what I was talking about.
ETA: you made it clear when you said the below in the op

Why is this so hard to grasp? The OP (a good dude) did not know that Dubose had turned down the HC job at this very same HS just last year. He simply saw that Dubose was named the LB coach at a 3A HS in Alabama and made a thread to talk about how far Dubose had fallen from his days as SEC HC (just 15 years ago).
I agree that he has fallen a long way - he shouldn't have been the HC in the first place - but he's volunteering as the LB coach. He's not so far down that he HAS to be an LB coach just to pay his bills. That's my point.
