Sorry, I tried to think of a thread as riveting as "which coach farts the best", but I landed on a non-revenue sport instead.

Floreal has been great with the women's squad. Hopefully UK can hang on to him.

It is a rule on the Tiger Rant that the better the post the more emoticons. Only thing that can explain them being used so much.

Gamecocks doin' work ... glad to see it from the men and the women.

But Curtis Frye is getting old - it might be time for new blood. We should be Top 10 in both men's and women's track every year.

A couple of things....it says Arky women claim #1 spot for the first time?? I thought your guys were a traditional track powerhouse?

Also WTF is going on a Georgia? Have they been coming on and I haven't noticed or is this new?

Men's was a dynasty, now it's just an elite program which bothers me deep inside

Women's was never anywhere close to the men's program

Arkansas has always been strongest on the men's side. Damn near unbeatable in the distance events. Indoor track is a whole different animal too.

I agree with this. Frye is a legend, but we need new blood. SC should be much better at track.

Track is especially huge in the Lowcountry. I ran in high school for a 2A school and we regularly went to state and won twice while I was in high school. Lower State meets were a HUGE deal.

Where does all of that talent go?
