I can't tell what's sarcasm and what is not on this page. I hope sarcasm is the answer.

Y'all let me vent in peace. I'm not a Holland fan. Gridley needs to play second and we have multiple guys who can play third. Rooker needs to be at DH. That's the way it is and I won't be convinced otherwise.

You just don't agree with the way Cohen coaches.

That being the case doesn't mean you want him fired, but it's not hard to admit that the long ball is sexier than small ball.

Oh for sure. I love Cohen 99% of the time, pinching for Vickerson last night made me want to throw my TV though.

I stopped following when it went into a rain delay and figured that it would have lasted longer so the game was over before I thought about checking again.

That being said, we just didn't play well last night.

You just can't forget how well we have played thus far though. I want to say through the first 13 games we outscored our opponents like 126-34 or something like that. I think I read that on twitter.

We just had a little hiccup.

It was bad, guys who normally don't make mistakes looked horrible. I think Heck struck out on a check swing twice, both on bad balls.

The end of the game I felt like he over coached a little. We pulled Ross after like one batter and then Fitts plunked a batter to load the bases, then walked in the winning run. And like I said he pinched for Vickerson due to a matchup; you can't take a hot hitter out of the box in that situation IMO.

The one good think was Hump came through with a big two out hit in the 9th, I really think he is right on the edge of turning the corner and being really good at the plate.

I'd say the only real thing that I will take from that game is that I want McCord in the bullpen, and maybe sitting for a while. He has not been good.

Granted he is a freshman. We have enough quality arms to keep forcing him out there.

Yeah I'm not sure what is up with him. I think Butch was expecting him to be one of our best guys coming into spring, just doesn't seem to have it at game time.

I'm still butthurt about last night. A bad loss like that doesn't help our regional chances.

When we hosted 2 years ago we went 16-14 in the SEC with only 2 non conference losses. Those losses were to eventual 3 seed UCA.

When you schedule as weak we have in non conference this year you really can't afford losses like the one last night.

I can't say we won't have two non-con losses, but what's our chances of doing better than 16-14 this year in SEC play?

I don't know about Arkansas Pine Bluff, but Alabama A&M, San Diego, and Arizona will all probably be tournament teams.

Losses like last night hurt but I think we have a team that is definitely good enough to host.

Pretty dang good I think.

I mean last year we had our best conference record at what 18-11? Didn't we have 1 game cancelled?

We have better starting pitching and better bats this year, IMO.

.188 hitter at DH again and one of your .400+ hitters not in the lineup. Cohen really plays with my feels early in the season.

Reynolds and Holland both. Meanwhile Vickerson is on the bench along with Rooker, who had 5 RBI's in his last start and has 2 homers in like 3-4 games played.

Our offense has been an unmitigated disaster these past two games. No part of me feels comfortable about this last inning

That's what happens when you field 5-6 guys who only hit singles, 2-3 guys who don't hit at all, then Hump and Rea who are both streaky.

ETA: Oh, and Lovelady who is somehow playing college baseball and can't lay down a damn bunt.

Collins has PH two games in a row. I'll be pissed if Reynolds DH's over him tomorrow.
