WTF did I miss this morning. How the hell did we blow a 5 run lead in 3 innings?

Who's pitching the 7 inning game?

I was at church, but I think the 8th inning was a CF.
We had a chance at the last at bat, but didn't get it done.

Simonds wasn't sharp at all but we didn't help him. We dropped a routine popup and it led to a run for them in the 7th. In the 8th he couldn't find the strike zone, walking the first, hitting the second, and starting 2-0 on the third before we had to pull him. Kopetsky got 2 outs and then hit a guy.
Then Ecker came on with the bases loaded and we turned what appeared to be a normal fly ball into a triple. With the cameras I couldn't catch whether Moroney just got an awful jump on it or if he was shaded down the line for some reason. It may not have been an easy play but it wasn't like it was a shot or anything. Just a fly ball that dropped between outfielders. Moroney compounded that by diving at it for some reason and it rolled to the wall in LF clearing the bases.
The game tie-ing hit was a GB to 2nd that McClendon got to and had time to make a throw but he rushed it and basically rolled the ball to first. Ruled a hit probably because he dove for the ball but an E4 in my book because once he got there, it should have been an out. Then an errant pickoff attempt moved him to 2nd, a ground ball to SS that was ruled an infield hit (close but throw took Melton off bag). If runner is still on first it's an easy flip to 2nd. And finally a bloop single to give them the lead.

Unless I'm mistaken, they can't start an inning after 6:30. That's the hard cutoff on the 48 hour rule. I assume there is no other curfew since this was originally scheduled for 3pm
Looking right now like we won't start before about 5:00 at the very earliest given the tarp is still on the field. It's going to be really tight to get in 5.

hmmm...apparently we've had the 48 hour rule waved because of the tv start and Arkansas was already planned to leave tomorrow so there is no curfew. That's not official, just the rumor going around. Aggie Baseball has not responded to the question
Play set to resume at 5:15

Great to hear. Hope it's true. At least I think I do.

Another reason you don't want to play double headers. 1 off day and you lose a series.

i just want to point out that this is the exact reason why i fricking hate doubleheaders. please tell me why they didnt just call the game after the 7th last night
