I didn't get to see it but several diehard skeptics have been won over by it. Anyone see it? Thoughts?

Hopefully I'll be able to post a transcript later.

Bajakian wasn't cutting it and I'm really glad he's gone. My gut feeling is good about DeBord. We'll wait and see.

My thoughts as well. I think he will prove to be a good hire. Hell, if we manage solid OL play, our offense will be pretty stout. Dobbs + Hurd&Kamara + WR Corp will be hard for defenses to stop.

When Debord was hired, I was not upset or excited. It is a bland hire but hopefully it will be a home run hire. Butch didn't bring him in to makeover the offense, but he brought him in because he trusts him and believes in his ability to call plays. I mean what was his record as an OC? Like 90 something winning percentage and top 5 offenses?

I think he will succeed and he will be turn out to be a great hire.

Some stats Butch threw out on Debord

-Won 82% of all games he called as an OC.
-NC under his belt as an OC.
-Won assistant coach of the year

I'm taking the wait and see approach as well, but those stats are impressive.

In all honesty, I came away somewhat impressed after watching the real PC. I'm still on the fence but we'll see.

he's never had a top 25 offense, let alone a top 5 offense.

I don't care where he came from, I will judge this hire by the results on the field.
