I'd do a 5 location rotation of:

Birmingham (Regions Field)
Memphis
Nashville
Pensacola (great stadium near beach)
Biloxi (going to be an awesome stadium near casinos)

Needs to rotate between 2 or 3 cities.. one of those cities needs to be in either Georgia, Florida, Tennessee or SC. Putting it in one of those states would encourage more attendance from the SEC East schools. SC fans would show up in droves if the baseball tourney was in the Atlanta area.

A good option in SC would be Fluor Field in Greenville. We have a traveling series with Clemson every year and we always play at least one of our games there as a neutral site. The other two games are on campus.

And Greenville is a pretty nice town. Smaller, but nice.

Is that the Boston affiliate team? Doesn't that stadium have the same dimensions as Fenway Park and a replica green monster in left field?

Would be pretty cool.

re: Braves stadium location:

They should have just tore down Bobby Dodd Stadium, disbanded the Tech football program altogether, and built the new Braves Stadium there. Would have been the best skyline view imaginable. Instead, that view is wasted on that shitass nerd venue.

Yes, that is the Boston affiliate team. Fluor Field is a great park.

Just opened last night. Hopefully this will host the tournament in the near future. Would be great for all SEC fans. Walking distance to hotels and entertainment in downtown Nashville.

i mostly hate that it's the same place every single year. so boring. Memphis is a great location, but i wouldnt want it to be there every year either.

oh yeah! I'd love to have my family spend a lovely extended weekend in Memphis.

I won't care where they play it if they move it from Hoover. I won't be going. I do believe they will move it after contract is up since the Barons moved. I don't believe the RV lobby will be strong enough to keep it this time.

Memphis's one drawback is RV parking? But i mean people will just have to get over that imo.

Park by the River in Tom Lee Park. If it's good enough for memphis in May(music and BBQ fest) it's more than enough area for RV's. short walk to the game

It's staying in Birmingham.

Nashville can't have both baseball and basketball.

Not happening.. IF it hasn't went to Memphis it ain't going to Nashville

I'm not saying every year. I guarantee that Nashville hosts within the next decade.

New Orleans is a no based on location, and also lacks the perks of the newer places.

It'd make sense to use:

Memphis - Autozone Park
Nashville - First Tennessee
Gwinnett - whatever the Braves triple-A park is

Others could come from

Birmingham
Mobile
Biloxi
Pensacola
Sugarland, TX
Little Rock

Hoover is a cement block with no attraction. Change is a good thing, but as always the SEC is a bit slow here.

I see you there, but then....

Why would these not be nixed based on your location requirement?

Move it around and give other people with jobs a chance to watch some games. Now that Missouri is in the mix, stick it at Busch Stadium in StL one year.

An SEC state that has had a good baseball program in the last decade.
