I'm sure that's nice but in a perfect world im sure they would want something where people could walk to it in between games.

I think it should be a rotation between
- Memphis
- Nashville
- Metairie
- Regions Park Bham for early rounds / Hoover for final 4

sounds like everyone agrees a rotation would be best. rarity for this board.

Then that aint the place.
We should add OU and OSU and host it in Bricktown. Hands down the perfect set up for a baseball tourney. Everything is walking, nice ballpark, and tons of parking and stuff nearby.

Love this park. Has a good baseball feeling to it if that makes sense.
No clue on capacity though?

I don't know much about the Florida stadiums, how is Jacksonville's? ACC has played there.
The coolest one would be Charlotte, but obviously that's not in our zone and is an ACC town.

It holds about 7500. It is a nice place to catch a game, but it is about a 10 minute drive to get to the bars in Sugar Land.

NASHVILLE
Opens in Downtown Nashville in April. Walking distance to all the hotels, bars and nightlife. I think SEC fans would have a blast.

Not to mention depending on the week how awful traffic would be for the people who would want to stay in town and drive out there.
I agree, and it's not like Gwinnett is getting better.

Bricktown Ballpark really was the perfect venue. Too bad the fanbases weren't that into it aside from us UT OU and OSU

Me, seeing as it's about a 10 minute drive from my house. OP didn't ask why we would move it. frick everyone else.

If you are an LSU fan and you came here on Thursday, got set up at your hotel in Buckhead then jumped in your car to drive to Cool Ray for the night session...........it would take you an hour to get out there. In standstill traffic for 15-20 miles on 85.
And while the park is fine, it isn't anything special. And the area around it is just plain ole American Suburbia (minus the few new 'mixed use' things they built).
Feels like it would be a nightmare.

Charleston Riverdogs Stadium - Charleston, SC
Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville - Jacksonville, FL
State Mutual Stadium - Rome, GA

I think any stadium picked would have to seat at least 9K, probably more like 10K.
