What is everyone getting their SO?

Probably giving some flowers and going out to eat for me. I was thinking about being more creative this year though. Anyone doing anything unique this year? Thought about just riding down to Panama City for the weekend (only 2.5 hours from the house and I am tired of going to ATL since I commute there to work every day). I know not alot is going on down there right now, but at least it's a change of venue. Valentines being on Saturday this year helps too. I actually thought about Savannah too, but that is a bit further.

Feel free to share your own plans.

I can't wait to hear Stonehog's opinion on you giving her flowers.

Nothing. Valentines Day is just a manufactured holiday to sell chocolate and flowers to gullible men to give to bitchy and entitled women.

We're going to Chic-fil-A. They're having a steak platter meal for two.

Valentine's Day is lame. I'm holding out for March 14th with my SO.

I plan on giving her a pearl necklace or perhaps pamper her with a facial.

Wife said at dinner last night, "Get 1 dozen roses, it doesn't need to be more than that. Also get Pecan Delight chocolate candies. I texted you a picture. DO not get anything else."

We're a straightforward family.

since we've been in the USAF, rare is the year we're both off on V-Day

Taking her to see 50 Shades on Friday, going to a Kansas City spa for couples massages and a hair blowout for her, going out to eat, then taking her shopping after.

Also got her a personalized pillow for the loveseat downstairs and a personalized frame for one of the photos from our honeymoon.

I'm married, and married in a state where those sorts of marriages are still illegal.

No plans with the wife. We don't celebrate Valentine's Day in the Spleen household other than for the kids. I'll get my daughter something and take her on a date, and the wife gets my son something and takes him on a date.
