I'll still take Ole Miss and give you 7 points too.

I like that we're playing tough in pretty much every game now. Those scoring droughts just don't happen anymore thanks in large part to Portis

It says something when I thought Portis was having an off night and look at the stats and he has 22 points and 8 rebounds

The majority of those points came in the second half.

Quall, Bell, and the FT line carried the team in the first half scoring.

The team shot 54% from the field, 48% from 3, 80% form the line.

Madden had 8 assists and 0 turnovers, 17-3 over the last 3 games.

31 of Auburn's points came from the FT line.

It's still just Auburn, everyone needs to calm down.

This means shite if we lose to Ole Miss and drop right back out of the rankings.

We play like shite vs Ole Miss, home or away, but especially away. They own us. We win that one and it'll turn heads outside the SEC.

We could be 24-0 right now and I would still be confident that we would lose in the Tad Pad. We always play like shite in that place.

I've hardly screamed his name at all lately.

This was a fun game to watch. Go hogs!

@Ole Miss isn't any kind of must win. Would be nice to get but nobody is really expecting us to. They have beat us more often than not lately.

Its a dump. Was at the mysterious lights out game and swore I would never go back. It makes Barton Coliseum look like a palace.

It kind of is a must win really. Lose and Ole Miss takes sole possession of 2nd place over us and has the tiebreaker, which could loom very very large come SECT time and the double bye possibility. Not to mention dropping right back out of the rankings. Would also give us a losing record vs RPI Top 50 and RPI Top 100.

If this team wants to be legit then it needs to play inspired pissed off basketball after losing at home to those guys and steal it right back. We go and lose by double digits which is likely, and we're back to square one.

This board is so weird. With football it's always glass half full even when we're 6-6 but with BBall it's always Hogville-esque half empty when we're currently ranked and projected as a 6 seed.

Hogville-esque would mean sunshine pumping galore, all Hogville does is sunshine pump, negativity/criticism gets you banned. Especially in Jump Ball and Extra Innings.

Football it's been okay because it's expected and that will change next season. When you're a top 25 basketball team with sweet 16+ expectations and talent, different story.

Blow out Auburn? Great, that's what should happen, they're awful. Lose to Ole Miss? Negates Auburn win. This team should never get swept in a season series by anyone, much less Ole Miss. I expect to win that game, everyone should.

I think we'll lose at Ole Miss but it won't affect much for us ranking / seeding wise. I see us finishing with 23 or 24 wins and then one or two in the SECt which will still put us a solid 5 or 6 seed.

Some people are just never satisfied. We are freakin 19-5 right now and by the way playing some pretty decent basketball in a much improved league. I know Auburn isn't supposed to be very good but remember they beat Xavier at home and LSU in Baton Rouge.
We dominated them on their home court last night. Enjoy this team. They are the best one we've put on the floor in a long time. National Title contenders? NO but pretty good and exciting to watch.

In fairness, everything Ultimate has said in this thread is wrong.

Smart fans are satisfied.
