Why in SEC BBall games do they call fouls at record pace?

This is the fourth game in a row I have seen in which BOTH teams are in the bonus (often double bonus) with 10 minutes left in a half.
** I Never see this in other conference games by any stretch of the imagination
What in the world is going on? It isn't just rough, physical games either. This is just ridiculous. I don't see it happen when I watch games from the Pac12, Big East and ACC

Referees do all sorts of conference games, so maybe it's some sort of conference style of play.

"SEC refs" also do those other conferences you mentioned.

The only way most of us can score is via the FT. It really is a gesture of pity on their parts I think.

Really? I do.
It also has to do with style of play. A lot of SEC teams play faster and more physically. Less possession based and less cerebrally.

Not a fan of these refs, but both teams have been fouling a lot.

This probably wasn't the best game to start this thread sicne it has been physical.
I just hate that it is 50+ minutes into the game being televised and there is still 7.5 minutes left in the half

Refs refuse to let the Ark/Aubie game get into any kind of rhythm, they don't want to run too much.

This honestly isn't even fun to watch. It is an hour into the game and we aren't even close to halftime
