Saw a commercial for this the other day. I don't watch morning tv regularly but I may have to tune in for DJ.

His major was journalism and he has a knack for it, future looks bright for DJ.

Hate that he couldn't cut it in the league, but that dude can pick up anything and excel at it and this position is pretty much perfect for him.

Man, i dunno. That is a shite job for the amount of money they make the hours they work. I think truck drivers make more money than a fledgling news caster/personality/morning show host. I've had close friends in that line of work and their lives are consumed by the hours and the lifestyle you have to live to be sharp and on your toes EVERY DAY at that hour of the day. They're in bed at like 7:30pm Sunday - Thursday. Very very difficult if you have a family and very very difficult if you're single and looking for lovin'.

Ok, i'm done. Happy if he's happy. Seems like a good dude/great player. Tells you how tough it is to make it in the league.

The guy is like 25, no wife or kids, and just spent the better part of 3-4 years making league minimum salary in the NFL. Financially, he is probably fine. He is doing something that he is presumably pretty good at (I don't live in AR anymore, so I can't watch the show and say it for certain) while he is young that will probably propel him into something better. I think he'll be alright.

I doubt his ambitions end at being co-host on KARK's morning show. You gotta walk before you can run.

Can confirm.

We have truck drivers making 70-100k right now in oil/gas.

exactly, i doubt brian williams started on the nightly news. hehe

but seriously it seems like a fantastic job for a 25 year old trying to get into that line of work. i would think if dj wasn't dj he'd be starting behind the scenes not already in front of the camera.
