They haven't been yet. Neither baseball nor softball have televised/streamed this road games to start the season.

Softball will be shown Friday at 2:30 against a pretty strong Notre Dame team. ESPN3

Games this weekend:

Fri 2/27 2:30 vs. #23 Notre Dame (WatchESPN)
Fri 2/27 4:45 vs. Penn State
Sat 2/28 12:15 vs. #13 Minnesota
Sat 2/28 4:45 vs. James Madison (Receiving votes)
Sun 3/1 9:00 am vs. Maryland

Really wish all sports schedule like softball. More than 1/2 of their OOC game through this weekend have been against teams in the top 25 or receiving votes. Should really prepare this relatively young team for SEC play.

Softball lost to ND Friday and won against PSU. Didn't look to good against either. Fell behind big to a bad PSU before fighting back to ultimately win 11-7.

Saturday was rained out. 1 tomorrow morning.

First conference series coming up this weekend against SC.

SC is at 15-5 but hasn't played nearly the schedule Mizzou has. Both teams played and lost to UCF. Beyond that, SC lost to FSU and beat Stanford and Cal. So they've played 4 teams in the top 25, lost 2 and the 2 they won were against the lesser of the 4. I would like to think we can take 2 of 3 from SC, if not sweep the series.

I think part of the difference between Finucane and Lowary is Finucane has faced the better teams. But Tori is not as sharp as last year. May just be getting her confidence back after the injury. Baxter has been good she gets her self in trouble but seems to get out of it without allowing very many runs. I think we will see Baxter a lot if we are ahead by 4 runs or more late to help save the other two for Sundays. If Lowary"s rise ball gets better she's going to be wicked good.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about Finucane. She'll find her groove. I think her ERA is about 1.00, with the 2 rough games. 30 K's to 12 BB's by my math. Baxter has been and will be a nice luxury when we have leads or for mid week games. Really have been impressed with Lowary outside of the PSU game.

Are the games shown on the Mizzou Network Online because I can never find them on TV?

There was a game on the SEC network last night vs uSC. It was won by Mizzou on the 8 run rule. Mizzou hammered South Carolina.

With Vandy not having softball, this is Mizzou's off weekend. They travel to NC to play Fordham, Lipscomb, Binghampton, NC State and Longwood.

Fordham and Lipscomb today at 10:15 and 12:30 here shortly.

Binghampton and NC State tomorrow 12:30 and 5:00.

Longwood Sunday at 8:30 am.

Losing any of these would be a disappointment frankly.

Beat Fordham 7-5
Beat Lipscomb 10-2

Fordham game: Finucane really not pitching like last year. Gave up 4 earned runs in 5 innings. Roth starting to find her power. Hit her 3rd HR in about the last 3 or 4 games.

Lipscomb game: Lowary struck out 10. Walked none. Fagan and Mack went yard. Roth was 2 for 2.
