Good lord, it would be nice if they at least pulled up our class on any one of the many services. They don't even know who we signed.

So they were grading UT and giving them an A in recruiting and an F in production. Coaching staff gets a big fat F !!

Rivals had Shane Ray a 3* with 4.8 speed. They also had Marcus Golden, Marcys Murphy, Aldon Smith and EJ Gaines at a 3*. Charles Harris and Sean Weatherspoon were both low 2*. Recruiting sites don't always come close to getting it right.
GP recruiting ratings is more important. He know what fits his style of play and who he can develop.

Mizzou has the best J-School in the country. Do these J-School guys not work in sports. We get very little love from the national media.

This isn't the national media. It's a blog.

Yes. It was so laughably awful I thought I'd post it.

I'm talking about ESPN, Rivals, 247, and Scout. Because it seems like when a player decommits from Mizzou they suddenly get better with higher rating.
If Alabama offers a player they are likely to get a bump in their rating. Franklin Agbasimere and Justin Smith both would be 4* if they had committed to Alabama or Georgia.

True that!
It's not this years 3* recruits they have to look at. It's the ones from one to two years ago that are rotated into the lineup. They talk like we don't already have capable players now.
Got a feeling, even if we ever win at least the SEC title, every year they will look at Mizzou the same way. We will never be accepted like Bama or Auburn or LSU and I'm good with that.
I just don't think SEC beat writers are familiar with Pinkel's way of recruiting and developing players. He has a pipeline within the team. They are used to Bama's and LSU's plug and play recruiting. That's ok. Like Semo, I prefer they over look us every year. Less pressure on the players.

You're right about that. Without going back an reading it again, they said something along the lines of the class could be ok if half of them redshirt and are developed. Like you said, they know nothing about Mizzou or GP and how he handles players. We've NEVER had even half of a class play immediately. I'd guess 2/3 redshirt EVERY year, if not more. It's not unique to this class.
