is it worth the extra $280 a seat? I`m thinking with Bama and Ga coming to town this year getting lower level tickets may not be that easy.

Yes it is worth it.

I sat in section 39/Row 61 from 2002 - 2013. Moved this past year to section 13 (wanted to be away from opposing fans/bands). There were a few scattered openings in 12, 13 and I think 14/15, as well as a little better choice along the north end.

With UGA and Bama this year seats downstairs will be hard to come by, even as a donor, because people will renew even if they don't plan to go because they can resell.

thats what i was thinking, i know last year it was tough to get lower level seating without the donation and this year it will be worse especially with adding in the young alumni seating.

My first year was last year and I think it's worth it. Same seats with the option to change each year. We're going to do it again.

if Obama has his way, that contribution for tickets will no longer be tax deductible

I saw that, but I doubt it happens due to the Republican Congress.

Worth it? Absolutely, but it takes a long time to get to lower level (unless it's end zone). IMHO, upper deck is not that bad at JHS. Look at it this way, if you're going to the DSOR and the Iron Bowl, you'll probably pay a total of almost $280 a seat as a premium to a scalper.
