Dwayne Haskins and Trevon Diggs visited. Haskins says he is returning for a visit for UF's Spring game in 2 weeks. Diggs is all over the map with his recruitment.
Carlos Becker finally made it to UF. He is a top priority at DB.

I know that Haskins is suppose to be possible answer to having a very good qb...has anyone seen him or know if he is indeed the real deal?

If he doesn't make it back for an unofficial, I doubt Haskins comes to UF.
He was supposed to come down tomorrow but haven't heard anything back.

Just wanted to get your opinion on the overall recruiting ability of Coach Mac and his staff. I know it's still early, but from what you have seen, do you feel they will get us back to where we need to be from a recruiting standpoint?

3 star RB Lamical Perine and Juco OL Brandon Autry have committed to UF. Autry is huge 6ft 4ish 300+. Perine is out of Bama and is 5ft 11in 210lbs.

Looking like WR Binjimen Victor will be committing to UF on the 22nd. Rated #2 WR, #25 overall player by 247sports. Could also add Cavin Ridley, Calvin Ridley's younger brother, too. 4* WR from Deerfield Beach.

I've been less involved in recruiting this year due to the trends in recruiting over the last several years.
I think the only thing holding UF back right now is the boring perception left behind by the previous staff. The new staff hasn't had a chance to show their approach on Saturdays yet.
Also, this new staff has had 4 months to build relationships with the top guys. While other staffs have had 1yr and 4months. The big time kids that choose UF early are the kids that truly want to play at UF and there's 0 doubt about it.
If UF can change the perception to being more of an exciting team this fall, they will get back to recruiting with the elite. Plus, when December rolls around that gives them about a years worth of a relationship with the big fish.
If you don't believe the above, read what kids say about Auburn. Same record as UF last year, but their offense sets a precedent for being more exciting, so that is the difference in perception.

If we land that Mittermeir kid out of Kansas, I would say Mac has done about as good a job as he can possibly do regarding the o-line for next year.
Unfortunately, I have a feeling he will end up at OU as it is so much closer to home for him.

Just got to build a brand. Auburn has the GusBus, Arkansas has their trench hogs, TAMU got Air Raid

Binjimen Victor has pushed back his announcement date to sometime in January and will be visiting Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State. Word on the street is he is really interested in Ohio State and Michigan and is growing interest in Tennessee. He is said to be a Gator lock now but it looks like he might be headed in a different direction.

He went to OU. Big miss for UF at a position of need. Too bad.
