East

1a. Tennessee

Why yes, I am biased. But at least we potentially have the talent to pull this off. We need at least 4 recruits to step in immediately and do well. Kahlil McKenzie, Justin Martin, Alvin Kamara, and either Drew Richmond or Jack Jones need to show up. Also need to see improvement from the O line and fill the void at MLB which is doable. Booger McFarland thinks we will get the east. I agree with ole Booger.

1b. Georgia

Lot of talent there. Strong run game and Heisman contender Chubb along with Michel will be a tough row to hoe for Dlines. Big question mark at QB along with a lot of questions for their defense. But getting Tennessee at Neyland in year 3 for Jones might be enough for them to finally quit flirting with losing to UT and actually lose. McElroy has them winning the division. I'm not saying he's wrong.

3. Mizzou

Okay. I may very well be wrong here, but I doubt that they can pull off winning the division 3 years in a row now that the division appears to have taken a big step into being more competitive. But never count them out. They have too notch coaching.

4. UF

Disaster narrowly averted on signing day, but still a thin class and very thin units. Treon Harris hasn't impressed, but coaching should be significantly better. Too much to ask for the gators to return to form so quickly.

5. South Carolina

Less than ten snaps at the QB position. Ouch. Defense doesn't look like it will get much better. Big recruiting class, may be able to fill holes. Could be a slot higher. Could be lower.

6. Kentucky

Disappointing signing day. Can upset someone. I say they have 5 or 6 wins.

7. Vanderbilt

Nothing more needs to be said.

West

1. Alabama

Rich get richer in recruiting. Coaching turmoil seems to have left them with better coaches than before. Still a tough division and all it takes is one slip up. Still have to put them at one.

2. Auburn

Excellent signing day. Obviously depends on how the new QB does. Talent galore and should have a nasty defense.

3. A&M

Chavis makes a terrible defense slightly less porous. Solid but not spectacular infusion of talent. They'll win some games but not enough to win the division.

4. Arkansas

If they can replace the missing pieces of their defense they can do better than 4th, but that's not a given. Hard nosed running game. But they're no better than 4th. Still a nice step up for the piggies.

5. LSU

This is a team that can be much much better than where I've placed them. But losing Chavis is gonna make things tougher. Obviously they cleaned up today, but I think Miles has lost his touch. I will say I have no confidence in this pick.

6. Mississippi State

You lost a lot. More than anyone else from the roster. I hope you do well, but I don't see it. Prove me wrong. I would like to be wrong here.

7. Ole Miss

Chad Kelley will get arrested before playing a snap. Hard time scoring points. Sorry, but you'll be last. You'll make a bowl though simply because you're good enough to stun someone you shouldn't and you have Vandy on the schedule.

a lot of questions for their defense.

Actually, no. We will have two new ILBs but, otherwise, we'll be definitely improved across the board. Our OLBs are going to be goddamn nightmares, our DBs will be improving on a miraculously solid first season under Pruitt, and our DL is getting about as much quality depth in one recruiting class as I've ever seen.

So, in other words, our biggest question mark is who starts at QB: the Redshirt Freshman former Mr. Football from Carolina or the Redshirt Sophomore Elite 11 QB from the Georgia-Florida line? Either way, we return our entire OL two deep minus our starting center, arguably the best backfield in America (again), and a solid receiving corps.

We used to have a coach that recruited well but couldn't win games too. Just don't hire Nutt.

I'm saying you have the potential, but you won't fulfill it.

As a Tennessee fan, this is something I'm all too familiar with.

We're still rebuilding so I wouldn't cry over 4th then maybe 2 the next year etc. But that may just be me.

This is what I'm trying to say regarding Arkansas. I like most of y'all and think you're a solid team. Just thin.

No disrespect intended.

Butch Jones' big wins over Vanderbilt and Iowa this past season will propel to do big things next year. I can feel it.

I PERSONALLY feel that we should be ranked 1 in both the Coaches' and AP polls for 2015. Actually, we should also be retroactively ranked 1 for 2014. We're clearly that good.
