Wouldn't it be a kick in the arse to have Taneyhill on our staff in some form or another? This would be epic if it ever happened.

Yeah, I believe so, but leave it to Taneyhill to stir up rumblings even with a tweet. Clemson would find even more vitriol for us with him strolling the Carolina sidelines. Always loved watching him play and his antics when we won.

Damn time flies.

Steve was twenty years ago.

Jeff Grantz was da man twenty years before that and he was our greatest all time QB until Shaw came along.

Spurrier has always been fairly cordial to Taneyhill though, Holtz, not-so-much. Skip was the dick about that.

Steve had told me several times, oh it's been ten years ago or so now, that he wanted to coach The Gamecocks one day. He needs to get some serious college level assistant coaching time-in soon though - and I'm not sure it could happen.

He could however, conceivably end-up as one of the greatest high school coaches in the history of this state.
