I honestly don't even think of them until someone else brings them up. Whoever is asking him the question just needs to let it go. Who the frick cares.

They aren't even on my radar anymore unless someone mentions them. Screw kU and their rug-wearing coach.

I agree 100%. My focus is on Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina, et al. I may not hate them the way I hate ku, but that's where my attention is.

For the first time in my life, I really can't name a player on their BBall team. I've also got no clue who their FB coach is.

It's nice.

The whole article is arse-backwards. He admits it isn't great not playing mizzou, but is adimate in his stance that Mizzou not be scheduled. If you miss the rivalry, then schedule it dumbass.

frick 'em. If I was the new, incoming AD, my first move is to extinguish the open door of reviving this rivalry. We don't need their gay asses anymore than they need us. So if we happen to meet in the Dance or bowl game, fine, so be it, other than that, kiss our collective asses.

You (ku) would of done the same thing we did if you had an option to jump ship and go to another legit, bigtime conference, so stay butthurt over it. I laugh at your pettiness.

There are two kU grads in my division. I see them frequently as we all travel from KC to STL and back often.

They never mention football and really don't talk sports at all anymore. They know they are a
incline wrapped helically around an axis.

I almost feel bad for them. But yeah, f that!

Stuff like this is baffling. It has been a real loss for Kansas basketball not having them on the schedule... so we will make sure to not schedule them in the future?

Was this the Bizarro world version of Bill Self? What person in their right mind says this has really hurt our program, we'd better make sure to keep doing it?

It's all about false pride and posturing.

Kansas and Missouri should be playing each other annually. It's good for both programs and the sport/sports, but so long as the butthurt runs deep it won't happen.

What would be a true shame is if they didn't play for so long that the real hate dissipates.

Those in the STL market may not notice it as much, but KC are definitely missing playing them. I know my parents still watch Big 12 basketball...and I myself enjoy watching somewhat watchable Big 12 basketball.

SEC basketball outside Kentucky is still ugly to watch. I watched Iowa State and Texas the other night, and I really missed seeing recognizable coaches and flowing beautiful ball.

watching ISU is great. They have no clue what defense is or working for a good shot. If they got enough space to get the shot off w/out getting blocked, away it goes. The mayor loves him some AAU basketball. He doesn't have much choice, though. He wants to live off of D1 transfers and he has to sell that style to them.

Hate to say it, but when someones says quick who's your rival, I say Tennessee, Arky, or USC. I don't even think about Kansas.

IMO, there is a void left by neglecting to have the ku game every year. It is a void that no amount of SEC football, Calipari hating, Devin Booker swatting, or Steve Spurrier blame deflecting will ever fill.

College basketball doesn't feel right. There isnt any bragging rights for the year anymore. No Marcus Denmon comebacks to remember, or meltdown at the Phog for that matter.

All these new teams are nice and all, but no one will ever replace kansas.

I know Mizzou has moved on but...besides Virginia/West Virginia this is a rivalry rooted in American History and real blood. That's why it should be played, regardless of conferences. It actually represents a true life and death rivalry, it's bigger than the Big 12 or SEC. America loses a history lesson without this rivalry.

I will always love to hate kU and my children are being raised in this cult as well. The games need to be brought back. The passion with those games was unique in college sports.
