Can they at least just be great before we anoint them all-time great?

I love Murph's stuff but sometimes he gets a tad geeked up. Tennessee gave up 169 yards rushing a game last year, tied for 65th nationally. They got better players coming in, but how many highly rated defensive lineman types haven't lived up to their ranking?

We'll see.

They are right. What trips me out is Khalil is as close to a guarantee as it gets in recruiting -- he will tear up college and the pros. If Shy Tuttle is half as good as his billing then we have Hanynesworth and Henderson 2.0.

Soooooo much potential on the DL.

Alabama's DLine this upcoming year will be one of the best in a long long time. Deep and very talented. Jarran Reed and AShawn Robinson will both play on Sundays as NFL tackles. Jonathan Taylor may be as talented as they are and he will be at the nose at 335-340.

Jonathan Allen will be an NFL DE.There's also DJ Pettway DaShawn Hand Dalvin Tomlinson and Darren Lake all experienced and solid. Johnny Dwight Dee Liner Josh Frazier and OJ Smith all going to fight for playing time.

This line can go big, or put pass rushers out there. As good as you are going to see. And we recruit at the highest level.

Yes, who else has brought in three 5 star DL in one class? and then get to add them to sophomore to be All American?

That's why I said 'as close.' I agree with you that nothing is sure or guaranteed in recruiting or football.

McKenzie looks a pretty solid lock to be an all-conference level guy at the very least. A lot of DL don't live up to high rankings because of weight issues or strength. He doesn't have those.

Thank goodness for that Reggie McKenzie hu?
