Chad better get the ship corrected soon.

Great start in G2, HBP & a error leads to 2 runs. Pretty sure they're both unearned, awful.

It's become painful to watch this team all of a sudden. What the hell has happened????

Errors, giving opposition way to many free bases via the walk, & we can't hit worth a shite with RISP.
Actually I take that back we can't hit worth a shite unless your Schrock, KMart, & Caldwell. No one else is consistent and the others are automatic outs (Mooney & Bright).

Another 1 run loss thanks to a 2 run bomb by KMart in the 9th.
L 3-4

How many 1-2 run games have we lost this year? Has to be like 6-7 of our 9 losses right?

6 yep.
Saw this stat:
Embarrassing that half the people in the every day lineup are hitting collectively below the Mendoza line.
I'd honestly like to see some new blood, replace Bright for Scolameiro & Stokes for Arendas. See how they do, especially Scolameiro since he really gotten a chance yet.
Saw this stat:

-- The Gamecocks also suffer from top-heavy hitting, meaning the vast majority of their offensive production comes from the same handful of players. Of the five Carolina players who hit safely Saturday, only one of them is hitting worse than .300. The seven players who received an at-bat and didn't get a hit are batting a combined .186 on the season.

Stokes & Scola getting the starts today, thank goodness. Can't be any worse than DC & Bright.

I don't get it. Holbrook has been recruiting Top 10 classes the past 3 years, yet we are playing like a team not deserving of the Top 25. Either his evaluations are way off, or he's not coaching well. I was willing to overlook the series loss to clemson, losses are going to happen during the season. However, this team is in a tailspin right now. If he loses half or more of the conference series, we need to look at other options. This shouldn't happen with these recruiting classes we have. Any 1 of our recruiting classes the past 5 years have been hire ranked than any of mizzou's or georgia's.

I think you answered it. USC has had its best success when Holbrook was recruiting and Tanner was coaching. Half of that equation has changed.
I'm not sure how long Holbrook's leash is. Part of me thinks it'll be long cos he was Tanner's hand-picked successor. Part of me thinks it's very short because Tanner built a Jag, but Holbrook's driving a Fiesta.

I think he's probably here for at least 5 years minimum, unless in one of these years we don't even make the postseason.

We beat an in-state team?

Yep, didn't look great at the plate while doing it. But we did it.
