Speaking of Mincey, he may be avail Sunday against Miami (OH).

Schmidt is in line for a chance at the Sunday role, I'd say give him the ball and see what he can do. He's been really good out of the bullpen so far from what we've seen. And I personally don't think Reagan is the answer for SEC play, more of a bullpen guy & midweek starter like this past season.

Wynkoop was filled in today as the starting DH in the lineup

Wonder if he's going to do it sort of like how Corbin does with his DH's, and just put 1 in when it's his turn to bat.

Welp I'm officially scared of SEC pitching for when the time comes. Are bats continue to be non-existent for the most part.

Luckily the first 3 series of SEC play are fairly nice for us, hopefully we can work some things out with the offense as we continue on into SEC play.

With this win tonight, Coach Holbrook earned his 100th win as South Carolina's Head Coach.

Cody Mincey is back, we had him close the game tonight. You can tell he's a little rusty, he allowed 1 hit and 1 walk, but 0 runs against 4 batters. He only allowed 4 hits all last season. After he shakes off that rust, we need to get him in the weekend rotation.

Reagan pitched a really good 6+ inning shutout and only allowed 1 hit.

Pitching was solid tonight, but our bats were...just not good.

Penn St.? Interesting, "Power 5" schools don't usually travel far, if at all, during the midweek. I suppose the northern teams need to get out of that weather to get some games in.

Bats came alive tonight, beat PSU 13-3. Destino had a bases load/clearing double and Shrock had a HR. Destino and Martin both went 3 Hits w/ 4 At Bats.

36 At Bats, 15 Hits, 6 Walks. We allowed 8 hits and 3 runs, but overall played solid defense.

Johnson had some great pitches again in relief. He only faced 2 Batters, but he KO'd both. 2nd time I've noticed him in the past week on the stat sheet. Maybe we need to get him and MIncey into that weekend rotation.

Alex Destino is an absolute beast. Just hit his 4th homer and now has 19 RBI's.

Didn't expect a sweep with how good Mizzous pitching has been.

But I don't get why the hell Connor Bright was not up with 2 outs & a man on 3rd in the 9th.

Colin Steagall, really?

You guys will definitely get us tomorrow. We've been throwing a freshman on Saturdays who will eventually be good but he's prone to the big inning from time to time. He throws a lot of strikes typically, with I think only 3 walks on the year, which actually scares me against y'all's bats.

I think y'all will win tomorrow and I think Sunday will be the real battle. Our Sunday pitcher is a junior who is in many ways better than our Friday night pitcher. I know it's not the tell all stat, but off the top of my head, I think our Sunday pitcher has a sub 2.00 ERA.

No idea what Holbrook is seeing in practice.. but that was a boneheaded decision by whoever made it.

Crowe is a thrower. Wynkoop is a pitcher. Of course, I've only seen them throw this weekend, but that's my take from the small sampling. Wynkoop is dealing.

Gotta credit Mizzou's pitchers but, we just can't fricking hit. Story of the season, wasted an absolutely awesome performance by Koop.

I'm afraid we're just not that good this year. We can still have a respectable season, but an average one by our standards.

Well, we paid y'all back with bone headed moves. In the 9th, Mizzou had 1st and 2nd with 1 out and a .100 hitter up and didn't hit for him.

Houck is gonna be a good one. But he's still hittable as a freshman.
