Tennessee - have you guys started seeing any Nike jersey prototypes?

Very excited.
Haven't seen much released from a prototype stand point up to this point outside of the cleats above.

I haven't seen anything except the concept ideas from various websites, but nothing official yet. IMO Nike has to be better

Do you think they will start changing things all around or treat you more like they do us in terms of keeping your traditional, historical look?
I assume they'll probably revamp your alternate stuff.

I believe the Adidas contract expires in the summer. Nike will likely release prototypes immediately after the new contract kicks in.

Keep in mind that Tennessee fans are all about tradition, there's only so much they'll put up with in terms of uniform changes.

Not sure to be honest. I would hope they keep it more along the traditoinal theme with a few new, smaller additions added.

I would be surprised if they didn't try to one up what Adidas did for us with the Smokey Grays. Butch and the team seem to really be in to the alternate uniforms 1-2x a year. That would be fine in my book.

I sometimes think that Addidas has better apparel for the fans. I have seen some high quality 1/4 zips from Addidas for ATM and Tennessee.
it seems like Nike is all about making stuff that can double as workout gear. low quality, or at least they make it hard to find the good stuff.
On the field tho nike cant be touched. While I'm glad 'Bama does not do it, I like what Oregon does. looks sharp most times.

Adidas blows.
All non Nike uniforms suck, but Adidas is even worse than UA.

I think the biggest thing is will the school push back if Nike tries to go in some crazy direction or will they feel the need to get creative in an attempt to attract recruits? I know that some kids want to go to a Nike school where they have multiple uni combinations, and so some schools will go that route just to give them a leg up.

Its the only song they know. Practice it 8 hours a day at band practice and exicute to perfection 57 times a game

I'd say you'll see something in late June/ early July. Our contract with Nike starts July 1.

I think this is the case. UT made it clear in their contract negotiations that Tradition is the most important thing. Any changes we see in the standard jerseys/pants will be small tweaks, but nothing major.
As for the helmet, i'm not sure if we'll ever see a different one. That seems like something that The admins/boosters/older geenration of fans is competely against. I wouldn't mind seeing a different helmet once every few seasons, but its not something i expect.
