Guy makes some good points

Why be backup for the worst OC in the conference when you could start somewhere decent?

If you have ever met Feaster, you wouldn't even question the article. Total goof ball! One of the worst I have ever worked with.

Not sure if he shouod have stated this week n a public forum, but he is correct, we did have a terrible passing game.

The tough pill to swallow is that it wasn't just terrible; it was worst in the nation. There is no reason why a school of LSU's caliber should ever finish dead last in any category.

I would say, even with the AU game considered, many tiger fans would have preferred to start Harris all year, let him take his licks. We'd have been better off this fall for it, IMO.

In response to the OP, some of this high school coaches are big fishes in little ponds and act like it. If he had a grievance with LSU, he should have taken it to them and Miles instead of putting his ignorance out on display.

I've met Feaster.

I've met many high school coaches who love coaching KIDS and help guide them to be better young men. It's admirable. Kids trust them and so I have ZERO problems with him voicing his opinion of LSU'S situation and how BH was neglected......not for a star, but for statistically one of the worst in the nation.

For you or anyone to say that somehow Feasted can't see the situation is simply moronic. My wife can see it, and so can the most casual person. Much less someone who knows more than you and I.

So take all the shots you need to at feasted or coaches like him, if that's what makes you feel better. But deep down you know he was slot on.

So Feaster was spot on for saying that Harris should transfer?

It's amazing how you never give Harris any accountability. Jennings is one of the easiest QBs in the country to beat out for a starting job. If Harris can't beat this guy out, then there's more problems with him than you want to believe.

i think you're missing the point. Whether he was right or not (btw i agree he was right about a lot of the things he said..not all) isnt really the issue.

He really did not handle it like an adult at all. You would expect more from an adult, especially one of significant influence like a HS head coach.

he expressed the exact frustration lots of fans expressed with the NC debacle. why the hell didn't Jarrett lee get a series or 2 during the middle of the game, if for no other reason than to settle JJ down?

I know people who will never ever like miles again for this kind of stubbornness.

sometimes you just hit a breaking point and blow the lid off.

he should've kept it to himself, but there's no sense attacking his character 'cause he blew up over miles stubbornness.

This has been discussed ad nauseum, but I'll shoot anyway.

This guy is a jackass. Should Harris have gotten more play time? Absolutely. Should he call it quits and pout and transfer after not being able to start as a true freshmen in the SEC? He'd be labeled a quitter forever.

When he did play, he pretty much confirmed the rumors of not knowing the play book. Dude was confused as hell out there. Now, if next year Jennings starts and the passing game is that bad again (is that possible?) and Harris doesn't get any playtime, I wouldn't blame him one bit for transferring.

By advising Harris to transfer after his freshman year? When he is primed to take over the starting spot? No, that shite is idiotic and terrible advice, which even he now admits.

No one is blasting him for complaining about the QB management. Hell, most agree. What I don't agree with is the retarded conclusions and comments he made stemming from that observation pushing Harris to transfer and accusing the coaches of spreading lies about Harris.

LSU fans...look at the bright side. Sure, you've got to deal with this kind of stuff on offense, but at least you've got Steele on defense!

A&M is going to lose AGAIN to these LSU teams with bad QB play and supposed coaching disfunction. So lol.

Yea - why would a coach add fuel to that fire and make it harder on his ex-player by doing that? Whether he makes valid points or not is kind of beside the point. What a dick.

I think what is more telling is that even after that conversation Harris chose to stay and compete. Says a lot about his character overall and should actually earn him chest points with Les.

Seems like a pretty logical guy.

Odd, you usually don't find such intelligence in a high school football coach.

Nope....spot on in his view of LSU's passing game and inferior starter's/programs passing rank.

And to your point of Harris, I could care less if it's him who starts. But to sit all year without trying others is stupid, and that's where the view of other coaches comes in.

When a tackle get continually beat, he gets replaced by the next guy, same with a wr who drops passes, or an rb who fumbles and misses blocking assignments, etc etc. But the qb continues on a statistical nightmare of production, and there is no change all the while LSU is losing 5 FIVE games?

Yes, I would tell my son that something isn't right with that position and the leaders response to the failures and therefore it may be in his best interest to look around. IF ASKED

And for the record, Les Miles did determine BH was a better option, then shocker, decided he wasn't after 2 arts.......fricking brilliant!
