I don't think anyone has a clue how good either of them are.
You guys need to make up your mind on whether recruiting rankings matter or not.

Has the tools to be a better passer than Sims, but we'll see.

For 95% of positions at Alabama they are pretty accurate at predicting performance. QB is not one of those.

Good to know that all the fapping over 5* Barnett never happened.

Bama fans what do you think about Coker?

I think Bama is royally screwed with Coker at QB.

If there is one thing that has been clear during Bama's run of 7 consecutive 10 wins seasons, 3 national titles, and 3 SEC titles, it's that the Tide MUST have an elite QB who carries the team week in and week out.

They simply cannot win with a game manager who plays within himself, hands off to 5* running backs, and lets the D make plays.

My opinion is Lane Kiffin made Blake Sims a Top 10 efficient passer in America

You misspelled Cooper.

I figure the more 4 and 5 stars you pile up the chances one of them is good have to improve.

Seriously though, Barnett is the first "elite" Top 1-2 in a class QB we have signed. The rest have been solid 4-star types but not best QB in a class types.

Alright

Am I wrong?

50% of his completions
50% of his yards
58% of his TDs

To one player.

I'd wager close to 50% of his attempts were to Cooper as well.

Sure, he targeted Cooper a lot, but he also made the throws. Cooper made it easier sometimes, but do you think Brandon Jennings would have put up similar stats with Cooper on his team?

I think either one would have put up decent numbers in Bama's O with Cooper. Not what Sims did, but not horrible either.

The most impressive thing about Kiffin this year wasn't "developing" Sims. The most impressive thing was finding ways to get Cooper the ball in space despite everyone knowing that's where it was going over half the time.

ETA: Well, maybe not Jennings. I think Harris could have put up decent numbers though.

If you think you'll get a consensus here you either don't understand the definition of the word or you've never posted on the SECrant.

Good point. Jesus Christ couldn't get consensus on the sum of 2+2 on the rant.
