Could college basketball be any worse of a product

Whistle. Whistle. Brick. Ticky tack foul. TV timeout. Repeat on a loop for 2.5 hours.

Y'all lost? But - I don't disagree.

Yes it could.
But shitty officiating is single handedly holding it back. I know people bitch about the one and dones, but that only affects a small fraction of teams in D-1. A complete lack of consistency from the stripes and some poorly implemented rule changes as of late has really stunk it up.

No one is forcing you to watch.
Oh wait, is someone forcing you to watch?

Maybe if your team was better?

Well coached teams do not play in games like that...

Without question. Officials in college basketball are horrible. I though the Big 12 officials were inconsistent and then we came to the SEC.....

Officials are not league specific in basketball.
I thought fans of teams who claim to have a basketball history would be knowledgeable of that fact.

Big 12 officials aren't inconsistent. They're corrupt. Don't even have to look at Mizzou games. Look at some of kU's games recently, whether against ISU or whomever.

Could be college baseball. College basketball is a good product.

Maybe, but this is not a new opinion of mine.

My team won last night so I disagree completely.
Helps to DVR the game. Goes by so much faster. Or have a drink in hand. Or both.

I've seen several SEC crew regulars also doing ACC games.
But, I've also seen several SEC regulars doing SWAC and Southland games too...

I thought fans of perennial NIT teams were not this naive

At least college baseball is trying to improve its product after neutering the bats. College basketball still thinks a 35 second clock is okay

Kentucky has a team full of NBA talent and they score 69 points? 69?
No flow whatsoever. It's brutal, and I actually like basketball. Watch the NBA. Doesn't even look like the same sport.

Used to be my favorite sport growing up. It is just trash nowadays.

Part of that is their own doing. They're about middle of the pack in the country in terms of offensive possession. FWIW, Virginia is second to last in the country in offensive possession. They're just committed to defensive at this point.
