Even if not a moral victory, I like what I see in the guys on the court. These guys aren't used to losing and with their youth, they could have quit long ago. I'm not seeing that. They are showing some guts and some emotion.
I agree. This team has evolved and grown since that loss to UMKC.

The coach???? Verdict is still out.
He has two years after this one for me. Im not really liking his recruiting so far in this next class, still way early I admit. I dont know. Maybe the university is all in on football at this point and is content to hand over the program to a legacy that will occasionally get into the NCAA. Would be a shame.
Meh, back to the moral victory.

Cal was probably thirsty and being the cordial guest we are he got a bottle of water thrown..err handed to him.
He'd had shite thrown at him the past three road games.
Then again, Alabama might have been throwing shite at Grant and missing.

I doubt it. It's just a bad time for the Mizzou program. They'll emerge from this stronger. I do think MU put a lot of emphasis on making sure the football program could compete in the SEC and that has paid incredible dividends. They'll do the same with the other sports.

Man, the refs made this game ugly. Was absolutely the worst reffing job I have seen in years. 25 fouls in 7 minutes to start the 2nd half....followed by kids getting mauled with no calls.
I could have left after Post sent Booker's dunk back to Mississippi.
Just sad that to watch a pretty fun game get torn apart by refs.

I hate to say it, but that probably helped us more than it hurt us. I know guys got in foul trouble and we don't have the depth to deal with that, but the game had to be made ugly for us to keep it within 20.

54 fouls. That is insane.
I didn't get to watch the game a few weeks ago.
I was really impressed with Trey Lyles. I didn't know he could move like that.
Karl Towns was solid, but the kid definitely needs to work on his lower body...his legs are twigs.
Harrison twins definitely improved from last year.
Ulis definitely has handles, but will get his shot sent back in the NBA if he doesn't get a higher and quicker release.
Fun to watch until the refs ruined it.

Hate that he didn't pick Mizzou, but every family needs to take a page out of the Booker's playbook when handling these things.
Looking at you Elliotts.
